POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Compensation and Benefits Manager to support the development, implementation, and administration of our compensation and benefits programs. This role is ideal for an HR professional looking to grow their expertise in total rewards and overall HR responsibilities within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in HR, preferably with exposure to compensation and/or benefits.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to function effectively and harmoniously within a team environment throughout the company.
  • Must possess a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
  • High level of discretion and integrity when handling sensitive information.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with compensation benchmarking tools (e.g., Mercer, Radford).
  • Knowledge of federal and Texas-specific labor laws.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and maintenance of salary structures, job classifications, and compensation guidelines.
  • Support annual compensation review cycles, including merit increases, bonus calculations, and market benchmarking.
  • Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits with professionalism, confidentiality and within a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with payroll and HRIS teams to ensure accurate data management and reporting.
  • Participate in compensation and benefits surveys and analyze results to support market competitiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (FLSA, ERISA, ACA, etc.).
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for HR leadership teams.
  • Support other areas of HR as needed.
