Key Responsibilities: Assist and perform surgical procedures under the supervision of senior consultants and surgeons. Conduct pre-operative assessments and participate in developing patient care plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients. Participate in patient consultations, explaining procedures and expected outcomes. Engage in continuous learning by attending workshops, conferences, and training sessions. Contribute to clinical research projects and quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications: Medical degree (MD) with completion of a residency in Cardiothoracic Surgery or related field. Eligibility for board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery. Strong foundational knowledge in surgical principles and cardiothoracic disorders. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment. Dedication to continuous professional development and eagerness to learn from experienced colleagues. Prior clinical experience or internships in cardiac or thoracic surgery is preferred.
