This role provides a unique opportunity for emerging neurologists to make a significant impact on public health while gaining invaluable experience in a supportive and collaborative environment. As a Junior Consultant Neurologist, you will be integral to diagnosing and managing various neurological disorders, working closely with experienced consultants to enhance patient care and advance your clinical skills. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments, taking thorough patient histories and performing detailed examinations Assist in diagnosing and managing neurological conditions, including but not limited to strokes, seizures, and neurodegenerative diseases Interpret diagnostic tests, including MRI and CT scans, to assist in formulating treatment plans Collaborate with senior consultants and a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care Provide education to patients and their families about neurological disorders, treatment options, and follow-up plans Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards Participate in continuous professional development and training programs provided by the facility Contribute to public health initiatives and community outreach efforts relating to neurological health Successful completion of a residency program in Neurology A strong commitment to serving in a government healthcare setting Basic understanding of neurological disorders and hands-on experience in clinical assessments Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Compassionate demeanor and a focus on providing patient-centered care Prior clinical experience or internships in neurology preferred but not mandatory Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development opportunities Private Health Insurance Training & Development Performance Bonus
