We are seeking a dedicated Junior Consultant Ophthalmologist to join a reputable private healthcare provider. The successful candidate will be involved in diagnosing, managing, and treating a variety of ophthalmic conditions, while collaborating with experienced consultants and healthcare professionals. This role encourages professional growth through exposure to both clinical and surgical ophthalmology practices. Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed eye examinations to assess patient vision and detect ocular disorders. Assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning of various eye conditions. Participate in surgical procedures under the supervision of senior ophthalmologists. Provide patient education regarding eye health, treatments, and preventative care. Document patient records accurately and maintain confidentiality. Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with advancements in ophthalmology. Medical degree with completion of an ophthalmology residency program. Valid medical license to practice ophthalmology in the relevant region. Board eligibility or certification in ophthalmology preferred. Strong clinical knowledge of ocular diseases and surgical techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under supervision and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and patient confidentiality. Enthusiastic about continuous learning and professional development.
