Key Responsibilities: Assist in assessing and diagnosing periodontal issues through patient examinations and diagnostic tests. Collaborate with senior periodontists to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Perform basic periodontal procedures such as scaling, root planing, and assisting in more advanced surgical interventions. Educate patients on periodontal health, treatment options, and preventive care practices. Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient cases in compliance with healthcare regulations. Engage in continuous professional development including training and workshops on up-to-date practices in periodontics. Contribute to a positive and collaborative clinic environment that prioritizes patient care and satisfaction. Support clinic operations by adhering to established protocols and policies. Participate in team meetings and case discussions to enhance learning and collaborative decision-making. Stay abreast of new developments in periodontology and pursue avenues for practice improvement. Dental degree (DDS or DMD) with foundational knowledge of periodontics. Current dental license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction. Interest in pursuing a career in periodontology, with a focus on learning and professional growth. Exposure to basic periodontal procedures through internships or residency programs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions and teamwork.
