Role description: Arcadis is looking for a Junior Consultant (f/m/d) to join our Technical Advisory team in Madrid. This position will suit a highly motivated Junior Consultant (f/m/d) to consolidate their career within the leading global Design & Consultancy firm for natural and built assets, joining a successful team with exceptional Multinational clients. Our ideal candidate will have technical background, initial experience in Consultancy and Real Estate is desirable but is not a prerequisite, and good personal soft skills with innovative and digital orientation. The new team member will be part of our Development Consultancy team reporting to Technical Advisory Team Leader. Role accountabilities: As a member of our Development Consultancy Team (Technical Advisory) the tasks to be performed include: Provide independent real estate advisory services for banks, investment funds, and institutional clients during deal negotiations and during the construction period of developments.. Review and analyze project documentation, budgets, schedules, and contracts to identify risks and ensure compliance with client requirements as well as applicable technical and urban planning regulations. Monitor construction progress, assess quality, and evaluate potential delays or cost overruns through regular site visits and reporting. Prepare clear, concise monitoring reports highlighting key risks, recommendations, and actions required to protect client interests. Maintain proactive communication with clients, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications & Experience: Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering, Master's degree in Architecture. 3 + years of relevant professional experience (background in Consultancy and Real Estate is really valuable) Knowledge of national regulations related to Technical Code of construction and Urban zoning regulations Full professional English (reading, writing, and speaking) is a must. Timely delivery, consistency, and quality of deliverable to team and client expectations, in compliance with our business quality systems. Engagement with and adoption of the Arcadis Way and Arcadis core values. Driver’s license and possibility of driving.
