Responsibilities

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

The Junior Contracts & Procurement Officer supports the Contracts & Procurement Team by managing supplier onboarding, maintaining accurate supplier and contract records, and ensuring compliance with processes. The role is key to monitoring supplier performance, supporting value-for-money procurement, and enabling effective delivery of goods and services. It plays an important part in ensuring strong supplier relationships, governance, and operational efficiency.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Maintain and update supplier and contract management databases, ensuring accuracy of records, policies, and certificates.
  • Support the Supplier Manager with contract performance data collection and KPI monitoring to ensure value for money.
  • Monitor supplier performance, compliance, and service delivery through reporting and review meetings.
  • Assist with sourcing and procurement of goods and services, following defined processes and ensuring competitive value.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on contracts, suppliers, and spend analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement processes, contracts, and terms and conditions.
  • Contribute to service mapping and contract administration to support effective supplier capability and delivery.
  • Operate and maintain procurement systems, supporting the wider Contracts & Procurement Team as required.
