Responsibilities We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Controller to join our Finance team at AvaTrade, offering a great opportunity to grow in a dynamic global fintech environment. This role is ideal for candidates at the early stages of their career (Big4 background or up to 1–2 years of industry experience) and reports directly to the Director of Finance IL, with strong exposure to financial reporting, internal controls, and cross-functional collaboration Requirements Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Support month-end and year-end closing processes Ensure timely and accurate account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting Work closely with the bookkeeping team to maintain accurate financial records Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors Help implement and improve internal controls and financial processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FP&A, Legal, Operations, etc.) Support regulatory and compliance-related reporting (as applicable) Provide ad hoc financial analysis as required

Responsibilities

The Junior Controller will prepare financial statements and support month-end and year-end closing processes. They will also assist with audits, maintain accurate financial records, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
