A BIT ABOUT THE ROLE

An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Conveyancing Assistant within our busy Conveyancing Department in our Chelmsford office. The ideal candidate will preferably have had some experience of Residential and New Build conveyancing but this is not essential.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will have a real interest and be willing to learn. You will be required to deliver assistance and administrative support together with a flexible and positive approach to working in a busy and forward thinking growing firm.
· Working within a team of conveyancing assistants
· Dealing with clients over the telephone and face to face
· Providing quotes to prospective clients using our online quote tool
· Opening files and proceeding with the initial stages of conveyancing transactions
· Ensuring that new and existing files are compliant
· Property searches
· Land Registry portal
· File Closures
· Building up a good rapport with Estate Agents and other parties
