JOB OVERVIEW

The Junior Creative Content Specialist is responsible for developing and publishing engaging content that reflects the brand’s voice, aesthetic, and values. This role supports social media, product storytelling, video/photo shoots, and digital campaigns with a strong emphasis on creativity, consistency, and audience engagement.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 0–2 years in content creation, social media, or digital media (freelance or personal projects count)
  • Strong writing skills with an eye for engaging, brand-aligned copy
  • Familiar with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar tools
  • Basic photo and video editing skills preferred
  • Passion for design, storytelling, and digital trends
  • Bonus: experience or interest in reefing, aquatics, lifestyle brands, or niche hobbies

Responsibilities
  • Content Creation & Copywriting Write compelling captions, blog posts, product descriptions, and promotional text across platforms.
  • Social Media Content Plan and produce visual and written content (images, Reels, stories, shorts) across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Photo & Video Support Assist with product shoots, editing, and formatting content for multiple uses (e.g., vertical video, thumbnails, email banners).
  • Brand Voice & Visual Consistency Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, design standards, and creative direction.
  • Community Engagement Respond to comments and DMs when relevant, especially around new products or campaigns. Track what content resonates most.
  • Collaboration Work closely with the Web Commerce or Marketing team to align content with launches, promotions, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Creative Calendar Maintenance Help manage the content calendar and meet publishing deadlines
