ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to organise tasks and manage time effectively
  • Proactive, willing to learn, and able to work as part of a team
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)

DESIRED EXPERIENCE (BUT NOT ESSENTIAL)

  • Previous experience in a customer service, call handling, or collections role
  • Interest in finance, credit control, or debt management
  • Familiarity with basic financial terms and processes
Responsibilities
  • Assist with managing overdue accounts and contacting customers regarding outstanding payments
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Update and maintain accurate financial records
  • Work with the finance team to monitor payment plans and help resolve queries
  • Support customers experiencing financial difficulties by signposting them to appropriate solutions
  • Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues to ensure effective collaboration
  • Provide administrative support including responding to emails and updating account notes
