JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in the collection, processing, and analysis of data to support business decisions. You will work closely with senior analysts and project managers to ensure data integrity and contribute to various projects that drive organisational success.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in SQL for database querying and management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Familiarity with project management principles to assist in coordinating tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of VBA for automating tasks within Excel or other applications.
  • Experience with Bash (Unix shell) for scripting purposes is advantageous.
  • Understanding of data visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Solid foundation in business analysis techniques to align data insights with business objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Responsibilities
  • Collect and organise data from various sources for analysis.
  • Assist in the development of dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Participate in database design and maintenance using Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Utilise programming languages such as R and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Support business analysis efforts by providing actionable insights based on data findings.
  • Create documentation using Visio to illustrate processes and workflows.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses as required by stakeholders.
