POSITION SUMMARY

The Junior Data Engineer will support the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. The role involves working with structured and unstructured data, assisting in data integration, and ensuring data quality, security, and availability for analytics and business intelligence.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or similar role. Internship/project experience acceptable.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Basic understanding of relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Familiarity with data integration tools and ETL frameworks.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • SQL proficiency required.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
