ROLE OVERVIEW

We’re hiring a Junior Data Engineer to help support the design, build, and maintenance of data systems that power analytics, dashboards, and AI-driven features. You’ll learn how to develop reliable data pipelines, gain hands-on experience with modern data tools, and collaborate closely with engineers, analysts, and ML teams.
This role is ideal for early-career engineers or recent graduates who are eager to grow into data engineering, enjoy working with SQL and Python, and want to be part of a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like dbt, Airflow, or Prefect
• Write SQL queries and basic Python scripts for data transformation, cleansing, and enrichment
• Support data integration from APIs, external systems, and databases
• Help monitor data quality and reliability across pipelines
• Collaborate with analytics, ML, and product teams to ensure data is usable and accessible
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
