JUNIOR – DATA & AI ETHICS

We are seeking a junior to join the Data & AI Ethics team at Deloitte Risk, Regulatory & Forensic in Milan/Rome working in a Hybrid mode. This role provides an exciting opportunity for early-career professionals passionate about the ethical and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data.
Our team collaborates with leading organizations to design innovative solutions that address the societal, regulatory, and governance challenges posed by emerging technologies. You will gain valuable experience supporting impactful projects, contributing to research, and building foundational skills in Data & AI Ethics.

WINNING REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (completed or in progress) in disciplines such as Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Ethics, Law, Engineering, Philosophy, Sociology, or equivalent fields.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Proficiency in English and Italian.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel within Italy and abroad.
Responsibilities

The Junior resource will be integrated into a work team, working alongside senior colleagues and responsible for:

  • Project Execution: Assisting in the preparation of project deliverables, including reports, presentations, and frameworks for AI and data ethics.
  • Research and writing: Conducting research and analysis on regulations, ethical standards, and emerging technologies such as machine learning, advanced analytics and AI to solve business challenges.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Supporting the organization of client workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Collaborate with the team: Coordinating with multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery, contributing ideas and insights to develop innovative approaches to data ethics and AI governance challenges.
  • Analytical thinking: Support the development and deployment of frameworks for AI models and data-drive solutions. Assist in analyzing complex datasets, to derive actionable insights that drive business value.
