Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Junior Data Scientist - Pharma (m/f/d) for our client, an internationally operating industrial company in Biberach, on a full-time basis.

What you bring with you

• You hold a Master's degree in Computer Science. Alternatively, you have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with several years of relevant professional experience or a comparable qualification.
• They possess in-depth knowledge of data structures, statistical analysis methods, and current programming languages ​​such as Python and R.
• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical field, particularly in formulation development, process development, and GMP-compliant manufacturing and distribution of clinical trial samples, is advantageous.
• You enjoy working in a team and impress with your ability to act in a goal-oriented and solution-oriented manner in agile and cross-functional structures.
• You are characterized by strong communication skills, high social competence, and a structured, independent, and methodical way of working.
• They have excellent written and spoken German and English skills and are confident in working with national and international teams.

The job

In your new position as Junior Data Scientist – Pharma (m/f/d) you will work in international and interdisciplinary project teams and take on responsibility early as sub-project management in order to successfully achieve jointly defined goals.

• They continuously maintain, optimize, and develop complex IT systems in (non-)GMP environments. Their responsibilities include error analysis, system adjustments, functional testing, and the creation and maintenance of the necessary documentation.
• Together with the specialist departments, you will evaluate, implement, and establish innovative digital solutions. In doing so, you will make targeted use of modern software development methods and current AI-supported tools.
• As a process expert, you act as an important interface between specialist departments, IT specialists and external partners, and actively drive the continuous optimization of existing processes.
• Furthermore, you will support scientists in analyzing complex data, thereby making an important contribution to informed decisions in drug development.
