QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering skills
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD). Ideally VISI
• Knowledge of Basic Engineering principles
• Experience in Product Design
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with CNC machining is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or previous engineering experience would be ideal.
  Good verbal and written communication skills
  Industry - Mechanical Or Industrial Engineering

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Design Engineer at MONOLUTION LIMITED located in the Greater Portsmouth Area. The successful candidate will be involved in daily tasks related to supporting the design engineering jobs, learning and working with computer-aided design (CAD), understanding the fundamental basics of CNC Machining Support and how this interlinks to Product Design.

TASKS:

• Creating manufacturing Lay up and works orders
• Creation of Jig and Fixture concept design
• Design and tolerance of Jigs and Fixtures
• Detailed design of 3D Models using 3D CAD software
• Creation of technical drawings and bills of material
• Integration of propriety equipment into CAD assemblies
• Presentation of designs at internal reviews for concept sign off
• Supply any build instructions that may be required.
• Process CAD data for manufacture
• Use of MRP system (Internal training to be given)
• Support the Project and Production Managers
