Description

Just finished college or university and looking for a career in textiles? Art of the Loom in Clitheroe is looking for a Junior Designer to join our busy, fast-paced design office in Clitheroe.
This role is a fantastic opportunity to grow and learn in a hands-on environment.

What will you be doing?

  • Assisting with customer and show sampling.
  • Learning to use the AVA design system for design and fabric repeats.
  • Working to customer briefs, creating and adapting bespoke designs.
  • Overlocking and labelling samples.
  • Working on photoshop to create promotional/marketing materials.
  • Packing and dispatching customer samples.
  • Gaining hands-on experience with textile print machines.
  • Learning about the colour matching process, with the view to assist the production team with urgent requests.
