JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Junior CAD Drafting Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level professional to gain hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundational understanding of mechanical design principles and a proven proficiency in SolidWorks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated experience with SolidWorks is required. Please be prepared to provide a portfolio or examples of your work.
• Basic understanding of engineering and manufacturing principles.
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Work Location: In perso

• Create, modify, and update 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks based on engineering specifications and sketches.
• Assist senior designers with drafting and design tasks.
• Ensure all designs and drawings comply with industry standards and company drafting guidelines.
• Review and verify engineering drawings for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain an organized system for filing and archiving drawings and project files.
• Collaborate with the design and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
