KEY CAPABILITIES

• Experience having worked in a junior designer or design assistant position
• Strong sketching and computer skills, specifically; Adobe suite, Illustrator
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage and juggle a high work load
• Commercial whilst also creative and an eye for key trends
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage a variety of different stakeholders internally and externally.

PURPOSE

To support the research, design and development of Trenery Womenswear, working collaboratively with Design, Planning and PD&S.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and development of Womenswear categories in conjunction with the Design Manager
• Assist in the development of the Womenswear range ensuring the quality of apparel is maintained according to Trenery standards, throughout the design, development and production stages
• Conceptualize monthly storyboards in the form of mood and colour for specified lifestyle
• Nominating, sourcing and developing fabrics to compliment the range in accordance with the brief
• Attend weekly sales meetings
• Daily liaison with agents/factories regarding sample status and/or issues relating to product development.
