JOB SUMMARY:

The Junior Developer – Python & Front-End plays a critical role in supporting the design, development, and enhancement of internal and customer-facing software tools. Working within the Professional Services team, this role focuses on Python-based back-end development and front-end technologies to deliver efficient, responsive, and maintainable applications.
Ideal for early-career developers, the role offers hands-on experience in real-world production environments and exposure to modern development practices. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior engineers and UI/UX designers to build tools for automation, data visualization, and system interaction that directly support SNO’s fiber network operations and service delivery.

EDUCATION:

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant experience or project-based learning will also be considered.

EXPERIENCE:

• 1–5 years of experience in software development (including internships or coursework projects).
• Demonstrable skills in Python development and front-end technologies.

SOFT SKILLS:

• Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Attention to detail and enthusiasm for writing maintainable code.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
