POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with expertise in AWS and AI technologies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems that support our web and mobile applications. This role requires a deep understanding of serverless architecture, AI integration, and cloud services to enhance the functionality of our applications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in backend development, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
• Expertise in AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and other relevant services.
• Strong understanding of serverless architecture and its implementation.
• Proficiency in AI technologies and frameworks, including OpenAI API , Core ML , and TensorFlow .
• In-depth knowledge of backend programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or Java.
• Experience with database management and optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively within a team environment.
• Must live in Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, or Burnaby.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (required).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development (required).
• Ability to commute to North Vancouver, BC V7L 1B2 (required).

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using serverless architecture on AWS.
• Implement AI-driven features and functionalities to enhance user experience and app capabilities.
• Integrate and optimize OpenAI API , Core ML , and TensorFlow into backend systems to power AI features.
• Ensure the backend infrastructure is scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services with front-end applications.
• Utilize AWS services effectively, ensuring robust and reliable deployment of backend systems.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in backend development and AI integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
