Description

The location for this position is on one of the major sites of our client in Southern Germany. Our client is one of the key players in the European satellite and launcher industries. At this site around 2500 people are employed, working on space and defense projects. The space division is specialized in Earth Observation, Navigation and Science.
For one of our customers we are currently recruiting a Junior Development Engineer Electrical Systems for Radar Applications for their location in Immenstaad, Germany.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar with at least 3 years of relevant experience;
  • Fluent in German and English;
  • Hardware/software design knowledge is an asset;
  • First experience in working together with subcontractors is an asset;
  • Good communicator and speaker, rigorous and team oriented;
  • Flexible;
  • Willingness for business trips.
Responsibilities
  • Support of the work package Electrical Systems Engineering for Radar Applications and deliveries of the related items (hardware, models, documentation) in space programs during the phases B/C/D;
  • Analysis of applicable high level requirements;
  • Flow down of above requirements to functional chains and subsystem electrical requirements;
  • Support definition of the electrical architecture of the radar payload;
  • Support definition of system components such as: Antenna Control Electronics, Antenna Power;
  • Supply / Distribution System, Mass Memory and Formatting Unit and other as necessary case by case;
  • Co-engineering with suppliers. Support coordination of relevant design and MAIT (Manufacturing Assembly Integration and Test) activities at supplier level;
  • Support of project team members and other disciplines for electrical system matters;
  • Support of relevant operations and AIT (department) activities at System level;
  • Contribution to related internal/external Research and Development and improvements/standardization initiatives.
