Meet the DevOps team Our DevOps team is at the forefront of our operations, working collaboratively to support all our products. We are responsible for developing robust & scalable infrastructure across multiple AWS regions and are responsible for supporting multiple development & QE Teams. What you’ll do We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team, with a focus on Databases operations and support (50-70%). You’ll also get the opportunity to work across new initiatives as well as enhancing and optimising existing systems. To make this happen you will Database Operations & Support (Primary Focus) Day-to-day RDS tasks, management and performance monitoring Working closely with the team on database and data services projects Persistent stores: Aurora PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DynamoDB In-memory/caching stores: MemoryDB, Valkey AWS Infrastructure Build & Deploying AWS resources using CloudFormation templates & CI/CD pipelines. Including but not limited to: ECS, EC2, S3, CodePipeline, and Networking (VPC, Security Groups) Monitoring and Alerting Utilising Monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure system health and rapid issue resolution. Documentation Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of AWS infrastructure, procedures, and best practices. Collaboration Work closely with the team, developers, quality engineers to support a culture of DevOps collaboration and knowledge sharing. Troubleshooting application issues Working with third parties tools: Atlassian Product Suite (JIRA, Bitbucket OpsGenie) Datadog CrowdStrike Security Snyk Code Scanning What you’ll bring Experience in a technical role: DevOps, Database Administrator (DBA), database support, Platform/Infrastructure Engineer, Support Engineer or IT operations Database management experience is a big plus Foundational knowledge of Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, GCP) Basic proficiency in a scripting language (Python, Powershell) Strong communication and troubleshooting skills Knowledge in using distributed source and version control tools AWS Cloud Certification desirable You are the type of person who Enjoys working closely with the team, as well as developers & quality engineers to support a culture of DevOps collaboration and knowledge sharing Brings a great attitude, readiness to pick up a task, no matter how big or small A desire to continuously learn about new technologies CORTO is an inclusive, people-first company committed to breaking down institutional barriers that keep people from reaching their potential.
