Job Title: Junior DevOps Engineer Job Summary We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to help automate and manage the software delivery lifecycle. In this role, you will bridge development and operations by supporting CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure and deployment tasks, managing cloud and server environments, and monitoring applications. You’ll work closely with developers and senior DevOps engineers in an Agile environment, learning best practices to build scalable, secure, and reliable systems. Key Responsibilities CI/CD Pipelines: Assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI. Automation: Write and maintain scripts using Python and PowerShell to automate infrastructure, deployments, and operational tasks. Cloud & Infrastructure: Support and manage cloud resources (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise servers (Linux and Windows). Monitoring & Reliability: Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus and Grafana. Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve deployment efficiency. Security: Support access control, vulnerability management, and follow security best practices. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues across CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and infrastructure components. Essential Skills & Tools Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Bitbucket Pipelines Scripting: Python, PowerShell Containerization: Docker; basic understanding of Kubernetes Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, CloudFormation (preferred) Version Control: Git Operating Systems: Linux and Windows server administration Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience 1–3 years of relevant experience, such as IT operations, systems administration, or entry-level software development What You’ll Do As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you’ll be a hands-on contributor supporting application deployments and day-to-day operations.
