JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our company, Veri MedTech Holdings, is a telehealth platform that connects patients with doctors for medical cannabis consultations through our subsidiary Veriheal, and with other areas of alternative medicine through Veriheal’s sister company, Dosepop. We are based in Denver with staff located around the world, and are seeking a dedicated Junior Devops Engineer/Platform engineer to join our growing team at a our lovely office in the City Park neighborhood of Denver. As a DevOps Engineer/Platform engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure, while also contributing to the continuous improvement and automation of our development processes.

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:

Development Skills: Experience in developing applications using MVC frameworks on a PHP platform, with a focus on code quality, performance optimization, and scalability.
Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and participating/leading in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (related field), or proven professional experience as a DevOps Engineer/platform engineer or similar role (minimum of 5 years).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation and efficiency

Firewall Management: Proficient in configuring, managing, and optimizing firewalls, with a preference for experience in pfSense or OPNSense. Emphasis on WireGuard VPNs.
Linux Administration: Demonstrated expertise in Linux system administration, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security hardening. RHEL/CentOS, Amazon Linux, AlmaLinux preferred.
