Job Description We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer based in Brazil to join a global FX technology team. This role is ideal for someone at the early stage of their DevOps career who is motivated to learn, grow, and work with modern infrastructure and automation tools in an international environment. You will work closely with DevOps and engineering teams located in London and Poland, while also helping to build the foundation of a growing DevOps presence in Brazil. This is a junior role with a strong focus on mentorship, learning, and long-term growth. Experience Early-career profile in DevOps, systems engineering, or a related technical role. Commercial experience is not required, but solid fundamentals and a strong learning mindset are essential. Required Technical Skills Good Unix/Linux fundamentals Ansible: basic to intermediate knowledge Understanding of Git and version control workflows Basic scripting or coding skills (Bash, Python, or similar) Familiarity with CI/CD concepts Ability to work with Linux-based systems and support Windows environments when required Responsibilities Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions Assist with deployments across: OpenShift / Kubernetes environments AWS cloud infrastructure Bare-metal servers (low-latency systems) Work with configuration management using Ansible Support monitoring and observability tools: Dynatrace for system monitoring ELK stack for log aggregation Collaborate with development teams using: Jira and Confluence GitHub for source control Participate in Kanban-based delivery Learn and use AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Rovo, Devin) Write technical documentation and help improve operational processes Collaborate across time zones with clear written and spoken communication in English Nice to Have Experience with any of the following is a plus, but not mandatory: Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions Kubernetes or OpenShift AWS or other cloud platforms ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) Dynatrace or other monitoring tools Windows system administration Banking, finance, or FX systems Previous experience working in Kanban teams Exposure to AI-assisted development tools Languages English: B2+ minimum (spoken and written) Soft Skills Strong willingness to learn and grow in a DevOps environment Curiosity and a proactive attitude Comfortable asking questions and learning from senior engineers Ability to work effectively in a distributed, international team Growing sense of ownership and responsibility as confidence develops What We Offer Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale DevOps systems Continuous mentorship from experienced engineers in Europe Exposure to modern DevOps tools, platforms, and best practices Clear growth path towards a mid-level DevOps role International working environment with real technical impact Opportunity to help shape and grow a Brazil-based DevOps team Contract Type: Long term contract
