JUNIOR DRUM AND GUITAR TEACHER

Position: Junior Instrumental Teacher (Drums and/or Guitar)
Rate: £20 per hour
Days: Saturday Afternoon/Evening, Friday Daytime (offsite)
Hours: Flexible
Start Date: Week Commencing 8th September
Contract: Self-Employed

ABOUT US:

Riffmasters Music Academy is a growing music school focused on the Trinity Rock and Pop syllabus. We specialise in rock and pop music, providing private, one-to-one lessons in a vibrant, fully equipped studio. Our studio is also set up for recording, which our teachers are free to use.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in drumming and/or guitar, being able to play at a grade 8 level (certificate not required)
• Willingness to learn and grow in a teaching role
• A valid DBS check, or willingness to apply for one through our system

We are looking for one or two new members of staff to deliver drum and/or guitar lessons both onsite and in schools. Applicants may apply for either the guitar or drumming position or both if they can demonstrate skill in both disciplines.
This is a junior position, ideal for someone with limited or no teaching experience but with a strong passion for music, a desire to learn and a high level of competence. The role involves delivering one to one lessons at our studio and group sessions in schools, with guidance and training provided by our heads of department.
