Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified graduate to join the Online team running one of Ireland’s largest ecommerce websites; Elverys.ie. With our recent migration to Shopify Plus, now is an excellent time to join our growing and evolving Ecommerce Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Ecommerce Manager on Ecommerce projects and planned website releases.
  • Assist in the management of any technical/functional issues on the site – covering the mobile/desktop and iPad versions of the site.
  • Daily monitoring of online orders and ensuring orders are processed through relevant ecommerce systems as accurately and efficiently as possible.
  • Working with website monitoring tool and responding to alerts of issues on the site as they arise.
  • Work with warehouse and ecommerce team to continuously make improvements to the pick and pack of all online orders (Home Delivery and Click Collect Orders).
  • Log any development work or support tickets on Slack and our IT Support desk.
  • Maintaining a backlog of development work for developers.
  • Participate in meetings on the progress of project/releases/tickets with System Integrators.
  • Communicate with the Ecommerce team on the progress of projects/releases/issues raised.
  • Testing of all releases/tickets in staged and production environments. Logging feedback with developers.
  • Run reports and action as required.
  • Provide daily updates to the Ecommerce Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • High level of competence in Microsoft Office; particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain high levels of attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of CSS, HTML and PHP or Liquid is a plus.
  • Experience with Shopify or any eCommerce platform.
  • Flexibility in the role is required.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Please note this role in based in Castlebar, Co. Mayo.
