Important Information Location: Bogotá, Colombia Work Mode: Hybrid Junior Business Analyst – EDI / Integration Overview We are seeking a motivated Business Analyst with a strong interest in EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and enterprise system integrations. This role is ideal for candidates who want to grow their technical and business skills within the supply chain, logistics, and transportation industry, while working closely with senior analysts, developers, and global stakeholders. What You Will Do Contribute to resolving technical issues throughout the project lifecycle. Quickly adapt to new processes, internal tools, and integration methodologies. Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders involved in the projects. Troubleshoot connectivity issues by applying basic networking knowledge when necessary. Document technical specifications, integration flows, business requirements, and developer guides. Learn and support the configuration of EDI communication protocols (such as SFTP, AS2, FTPS). Work with senior analysts to gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements. Support integration testing by reviewing data formats, validating transaction flows, and troubleshooting errors with guidance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA testers, and business stakeholders. Participate in training sessions and gain hands-on experience with EDI standards and integration tools. What You Will Learn Industry EDI standards: ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, and others. Use of tools such as IBM ITX (WTX), WebSphere MQ, and integration brokers. Communication protocols for secure data exchange. How enterprise-level integrations work in global supply chains and logistics. DHL’s proprietary integration suite Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. Basic knowledge of data formats (CSV, XML, JSON, .). Basic knowledge of SQL and UNIX/Linux. Strong written and verbal communication in English. Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to follow structured processes. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Internship or academic experience with system integration, business analysis, or supply chain systems. Familiarity with EDI, B2B integrations, or ERP systems Data format standards: EDIFACT, X12, IDocs Soft Skills & Attributes Eager to learn and grow in a technical environment. Strong problem-solving and logical thinking. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.
