JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components. This role requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The Electrical Engineer will utilize advanced software tools and methodologies to ensure high-quality outcomes in project execution.

• performs electrical building design for residential, commercial, industrial facilities.
• performs lighting design calculations to comply with city by-laws and codes
• fire alarm system design to comply with OBC
• performs electrical load calculations, single line diagrams, transformer and incoming service breaker sizing
• apply for hydro upgrades and ESA plan reviews as required,
• client consultations for electrical work
• performs site reviews and take off
• perform the job and task assigned. Being an effective team member with excellent organizational and time management skills, self-motivated, hardworking and flexible. Being dependable; able to work independently and under pressure, to meet deadlines
• submit on time time sheets update daily and consistently
• Utilize CAD software, including AutoCAD and Revit, for creating detailed engineering drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into larger projects.
• Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD) is essential.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members.
