Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical knowledge, along with proficiency in tools such as Easypower, Revit, Microsoft Office including Excel, Words etc, AutoCAD

Duties:

• Provide electrical design and drafting, collaboratively and with support from senior engineer and project manager
• Complete or assist in the completion of design reports, building or system assessment reports, and site review reports
• Conduct site visits during construction, providing photos and site review reports satisfying the review requirements of various projects, and/or collecting information for design purposes
• Prioritize time to manage the demands of multiple overlapping project deadlines
• Assist with the production of electrical construction drawings and as built drawings
• Coordinate with other disciplines including project managers, architects, interior designers, structural engineers, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, contractors, and other consultants
• Coordinate with ESA for permit issuing and closing
• Work will include occasional travel in Canada
• Other works assigned by the management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Effective communication skills.
• Capability to deal with the LDC’s to obtain proper power grid information as required
• Knowledge of computer software such as Easypower, Revit, Microsoft Office including Excel, Words etc, AutoCAD
• Knowledge of CSA Z463, CSA Z462, NFPA 70B, IEEE 1584, electrical safety code and other relevant codes/requirements
• Ability to coordinate multiple jobs and build good relationship with the clients with assistance from the front sales people
• Ability to acquire through training and on-the-job experience specialized knowledge in rapidly changing technology and applications.
• Have proficiency with word processing software as well as technical drawing skills
• Work experience with EV charging systems is a bonus

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. At least 1 year experience in electrical engineering or site maintenance
• The engineer must be able to multitask, since several projects are usually handled simultaneously.
• Good interpersonal skills to correspond with customers.
• Willing to travel and go to field for survey or other engineering works. About 30% time in the field
  Salary Range – 45,000 – 65,000 based on the experience.

  Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
