Please visit our website: www.turnerandtownsend.com Job Description We are seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to support the design, coordination, and implementation of electrical systems in mining infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for early-career professionals eager to grow in a dynamic, safety-critical environment, contributing to the development of high-voltage and low-voltage systems under the guidance of senior engineers. Responsibilities Assist in reviewing electrical design packages to ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations. Support the installation and testing of electrical systems including lighting, grounding, backup power, and control panels. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (MEP, commissioning, QA/QC) to address technical challenges on site. Participate in inspections, pre-commissioning activities, and energization processes. Help prepare documentation and reports for electrical scope and quality control. Learn and apply international standards relevant to mining operations (NEC, IEEE, etc.). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. At least 5 years of experience in construction projects. Basic knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards. Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office; exposure to BIM or MS Project is a plus. Fluent in Spanish; intermediate English preferred.
