We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Energy Engineer to join our growing Solar PV Design and Projects team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the renewable energy sector, working on the design and delivery of commercial solar PV systems across Ireland.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering (or related field).
• Experience in solar PV systems or electrical engineering is highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding of technical and commercial principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Organised, dependable, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Full, clean driving license (preferred but not essential).

• Design and develop commercial solar PV systems tailored to client needs.
• Provide technical input and support for project planning and implementation.
• Attend and contribute to design and project review meetings.
• Take ownership of specific tasks and clearly defined aspects of larger projects.
• Assist in the procurement process for materials such as control panels, cabling, and mounting structures.
• Produce technical documentation including cable calculations, racking layouts, and routing schematics.
• Conduct site assessments and surveys to evaluate electrical infrastructure and installation requirements.
• Prepare and submit detailed technical reports on each project.
• Liaise with customers to offer ongoing technical support and resolve queries.
