Overview:
The LCDI team at Oxford Policy Management is currently seeking a Junior Energy Policy Specialist on a fixed-term basis for six months with the possibility of extension.
The position will be located in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Position Summary:
The Low Carbon Development Initiative (LCDI) is an exciting and high-profile programme overseen by Indonesia’s Ministry of National Development and Planning (Bappenas). The programme seeks to ensure the integration of an ambitious climate agenda into Indonesia’s national development plan. The main focus of the LCDI programme is to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions whilst maintaining economic growth, reducing poverty, and meeting development targets. The LCDI is supported by the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office of the UK Government (UK FCDO), through the British Embassy Jakarta (BEJ), in collaboration with Bappenas and the Government of Indonesia.
The LCDI programme works with Bappenas, relevant national ministries and provincial governments to achieve the following goals:
The role is a full time role based in LCDI Secretariat, Kuningan, South Jakarta. It is currently being offered on a 6-month- fixed term contract with the possibility to extend for up to a further three years.
