Job Description Summary Candidates having shop floor experience in aerospace industry chemical processes . In this role , you will operate, manage ,control and optimize the electroforming process line ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality while driving operational efficiency . Job Description Site Overview: Our Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility (MMF) in Pune plays a crucial role in manufacturing key aerospace components, supporting not only India’s defence and commercial sectors but also global aviation supply chains. Our relationships with Indian suppliers, combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach, continue to shape India’s aerospace ecosystem. Roles & Responsibilities: Daily monitoring of electroforming process parameters ,equipment operations and documentation, equipment , instruments , maintenance and checks of the electroforming process Operation and monitoring and control of daily safety and quality parameters of the electroforming process to Ensure that the documented work instructions and the router requirements are implemented as per operation sequence. Electroforming process tooling , fixtures upkeep and maintenance Pre cleaning and post cleaning of the electroformed parts Visual inspection of the tooling and the parts Compliance to documented process instructions and safety documents Root cause analysis for the process defects and implementation of the corrective actions Coordination with Quality team for the calibration of instrumentation of process equipment and ensuring process and quality compliance Follow and implement Standard work , EHSRA , Heat Map and SOD Support for the Preparation of PFMEA and periodic review of PFMEA Control of consumables and Implementing ideas for cost reduction Generate and implement Productivity improvement ideas Ensure compliance to customer specifications - requirements and NADCAP special process requirements The Ideal Candidate: Candidates with Min 2 years of experience in automated cleaning / plating systems and advanced chemical cleaning technologies Required Qualifications: Min 2 - 3 years of Experience in in automated chemical cleaning processes or Electroplating of aerospace components and assemblies Diploma in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering Preferred Qualifications: Certification in cleaning/ plating technology or related field Whether we are manufacturing components for our engines, driving innovation in fuel and noise reduction, or unlocking new opportunities to grow and deliver more productivity our GE Aerospace teams are dedicated and making a global impact.
