Working Pattern: 5 of 7 and shift times assigned based on business needs, but primarily day time work (to support expanded hub operations)

We are looking for a Junior Engineer to come and join the Basildon International Operations family that share our passion and drive to delight our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Engineering-related qualification preferred

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 1 year of practical engineering experience
• Previous experience with parcel sorter systems is highly desirable

TECHNICAL & PEOPLE SKILLS:

• Strong hands-on engineering skills
• Ability to give and receive clear, constructive feedback
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment

• Performing preventative maintenance on the sorter and associated systems
• Responding to emergency repairs to minimise downtime
• Liaising with and reporting to the lead engineer on system performance and issues
• Troubleshooting unlabelled parcels and dump chute parcels
• Collaborating with Operations Managers and Supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
