Junior Engineer responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components, including but not limited to engines, machinery, tools, and sensors.
  • Use CAD software to create detailed blueprints, models, and technical drawings.
  • Conduct analysis and simulations to evaluate the performance, efficiency, and reliability of mechanical systems.
  • Interface with customers throughout the development process.
  • Ensure machines are designed and released to manufacturing on time and within budget.
  • Review and edit test plans to meet the requirements and capabilities of the company, customer and project.
  • Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors.
  • Test and Analyze: new product and existing product performance with written report of results.
  • Research customers’ needs through communications with end-users, resellers, and partners.

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering
  • Internship experience to 0-2 years of experience
  • Proficient computer skills in Creo or SolidWorks, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excel Macros, Access database knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), particularly with Production Operations and Program Offices
  • Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
