SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

• Junior Project Engineer
• € 3.000 – € 4.000 gross monthly salary (depending on experience)
• Working at Schiedam, The Netherlands.

With the team’s experience, we know how to use our heavy lifting and transport equipment to create the best solution for any type of project. Heavy lifting and transport is often a combination of different types of equipment and disciplines, like jacking and skidding, mooring, and ballasting operations. Stability calculations, both static and dynamic, are also part of the engineering. Within Mammoet you are the link between the (technical) preparation and implementation of a project.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Take owner-ship over the task at hand and align scope with Project Managers and Lead Engineers involved in the project
• Developing the most optimal solution for the client, in terms of operation, costs, efficiency and safety
• Look for creative solutions using existing equipment from our own fleet as a basis
• Make the necessary plans/calculation using various software packages like: AutoCAD and in-house developed software
• Make the strength verification calculations of the required material / equipment
• When needed, attending project location to provide on-site engineering support
