    As part of our continued expansion, SCRI-IS Technologies are hiring for a Junior Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 3rd level qualification from an engineering discipline
  • 1-2 years engineering / technical experience ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Self-motivated person with the ability to function within a team and alone equally well
  • Familiarity with plant maintenance and process optimisation is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
  • Computer skills required include MS Office/ Excel/ PowerPoint /MS Teams
  • Ability to easily travel within Ireland to Client Sites and SCRI-IS Testing facilities
  • Fluent in English and holder of a valid Irish work permit (minimum Stamp 4)
Responsibilities

THE ROLES:

As a Junior Engineer, you will focus on improving asset reliability, minimising equipment downtime, and supporting continuous improvement in a safety critical and performance driven environment. Your role will involve strong analytical skills and attention to detail, gaining hands-on experience in testing and validation. As part of this role, you will contribute to SCRI-IS Technologies equipment analysis projects, applying principles of material science to evaluate and characterise materials used in critical applications. This position offers excellent exposure to the biotechnology and engineering sectors, with opportunities to expand your expertise for which the successful candidates will be extensively trained and supported by senior members of the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Involvement in material analysis and testing projects
· Prepare technical reports, dashboards, and data summaries for clients
· Use statistical tools and data visualisation techniques to identify trends, correlations, and material performance insights
· Extract, process, and analyse large datasets from internal SCRI-IS Technologies databases
· Contribute to internal and external continuous improvement initiatives
· Collaborate with SMEsto implement solutions, execute project tasks, and ensure alignment with technical and regulatory requirements
