The Role FairHeat’s Junior Engineer (Summer Internship) is a 10-week industry placement position which will give experience and understanding of working in the heat network sector. The primary route for developing skills is through project work and a proactive approach is taken to ensure that Junior Engineers (Summer Internship) get a broad exposure to the different types of work that consultants undertake at FairHeat over the course of their internship. The programme offers student engineers a fast-track for them to develop expertise in a new and quickly developing industry where there is a huge demand for knowledgeable and competent engineers. FairHeat provides a wide range of services but some of the activities that you could expect to be involved with include design calculations, heat network performance analysis, and site inspections. As part of these activities, our Junior Engineers would work closely with industry leaders and get the opportunity to apply academic knowledge to solve technical challenges on projects.
