Description

Supporting a healthcare distribution company located in West Edmonton, we are seeking a reliable and motivated individual who is eager to work, learn, and grow within our organization. If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, and being part of a team, this opportunity is for you.
As a Junior Equipment Service Maintenance Technician /Trainee, you will be on a training path learning how to assemble, service, and repair medical and dental equipment, including handpieces, autoclaves, and other specialized equipment. You will work in both warehouse and customer facing environments.
This is the ideal opportunity for someone who has completed courses in repair and maintenance and is looking to apply their skills in a practical setting. We will provide training on specific equipment through online courses and factory visits.
We will provide a workspace equipped with the necessary tools and equipment needed to complete the tasks effectively.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, hands-on environment. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Technical aptitude and hands on experience with mechanical, electronic, or repair tasks such as automotive, appliance, or computer repair.
  • Computer literacy for communication.
  • Excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with clients regarding service and repairs.
  • Patience and persistence to work through technical challenges to resolve issues effectively.
  • Problem solving skills, with the ability to accurately assess, diagnose, and repair equipment.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and produce results.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, ensuring our customers needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable with physical tasks, including unpacking, lifting, and moving heavy equipment.
  • Valid driver’s licenses with a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, once trained, to perform on-site service work at customers locations and to attend training sessions in other cities
