Our ANZ Employee Relations Legal team within our Global Employment department, provides advisory, compliance and litigation expertise to the organisation including advising the business on people and culture matters that carry potential legal risk, monitoring for and responding to legal changes, and advising on and managing employment litigation.

What role will you play?
As an Employee Relations Lawyer, you will provide timely and practical legal advice to a range of stakeholders on employment law matters, including Fair Work Act and award interpretation, workplace disputes, employment and contractor agreements, and termination of employment. Working as part of a global legal and compliance network, you will proactively monitor changes to workplace laws and support on legal compliance projects, including developing, implementing and identifying improvements to compliance procedures and frameworks.
You will also partner with Employee Relations to review and draft employment agreements, policies and procedures, and use technology platforms to digitalise and automate document generation. You will assist with various employment litigation claims, including unfair dismissal, general protections, bullying, post-employment restraints and discrimination. In addition, you will prepare regulatory reporting to stakeholders, including the board and prepare and deliver internal training and upskilling initiatives.
