Overview
This is an entry level position designed to provide the opportunity to grow with our company . We are seeking a detail oriented individual with college education in estimating and/or construction management processes. Through reviewing proposed specifications and drawings you will determine the scope of work required and estimate costs and create proposals. This position can develop into drafting and engineering with the right candidate.
Details
We use an industry specific ERP (Innergy) that is linked to Microvellum and AutoCad to assist in this process. We are willing to train for use of our specific systems but an understanding of CAD and construction bidding is a required baseline. You will develop relationships with our clients’ estimators, maintaining professional, timely communication. Seeking out new clients and opportunities through human connections and online bidding platforms.
Essentials
· College diploma in construction estimating, contracts, management, or planning
· AutoCad fluency
· Microsoft Office (Excel)
· Understanding Architectural drawings
· Ability to work to deadlines
· Math skills
· Organizational skills
Experience given preference
· Estimating Construction projects
· Manufacturing environment
· Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principles
· Familiarity with cabinet materials (HPL,TFL, hardware etc.)
· Kitchen design
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
