ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to our Estimating Manager, you’ll have exposure Estimating and onsite to gain practical experience and a solid understanding of how construction comes together. After that, you’ll return to the Estimating team with real project exposure and the skills to hit the ground running.
This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about cost planning, quantity surveying and numbers — and who wants to grow within a supportive and experienced team.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supporting the preparation of cost plans and tender submissions on large-scale commercial projects
• Sending out drawings, calling subcontractors, and learning how to build up rates
• Completing take-offs, preparing prelims and analysing subcontractor pricing
• Getting exposure to large-scale quantities and learning how to price complex jobs
• Working closely with the team to identify opportunities, manage risk, and contribute to successful bids
• Gaining site experience to understand the full construction lifecycle before returning to pre-construction
