MAIN DUTIES * Reading RFQ from Client, being able to understand and mapping the points in the RFQ. * Perform Material Take Off (MTO review) from tender and IFC drawings. * Prepare cost estimation breakdown (material, manpower, equipment, subcontract). * Support preparation of BOQ and commercial submission documents. * Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Project, Production teams etc. * Conduct material price benchmarking and vendor quotation review. * Assist in technical and commercial clarification during tender stage. QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor’s degree/Diploma 3 in mechanical / marine / civil / industrial engineering. * Fresh graduate or 1 - 5 years’ experience in: * Estimating * Quantity Surveyor / Cost control * Project Engineer. * Mechanical Engineer. * Planner. * Project fabrication. * Able to read structural & fabrication drawings. * Strong proficiency in: * Microsoft Office package i.e Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, Ms. Power Point, Ms. Project Etc. * AutoCad. * Basic understanding of fabrication process and material take-off. * Good analytical and communication skills. * English proficiency (written & spoken). PREFERRED * Experience in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineer, Drafter, fabrication yard in Marine or Oil and gas. * Familiar with ASME, NORSOK / API / DNV standards etc. * Knowledge of heavy steel structure projects. * Familiar with ERP system (SAP / Oracle).

Responsibilities

The Junior Estimator will support tendering and cost estimation activities for Offshore/Onshore fabrication projects. This includes reading RFQs, performing material take-offs, preparing cost estimations, and coordinating with various teams.
