("Reflex"), a 100% privately owned Canadian company, is a major supplier/manufacturer of Reusable Flexible Insulation Systems (insulation blankets) primarily servicing Western Canada’s industrial insulation blankets. Located in Edmonton, our dedicated field and in-house Design Technicians create insulation blankets to customer specification, which are then manufactured by our highly skilled production team in Reflex’s Edmonton-based fabrication facility. QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced office environment with many administrative responsibilities
  • Knowledge of how estimating processes work
  • Mathematically inclined and demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new concepts, and processes
  • Experience working with inbound and outbound calls, and customer retention
  • Strong organizational and computer skills
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We currently has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual as Junior Customer Service Representative (CSR)/Estimator. Reporting to the Senior Vice President and the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will perform a variety of office duties in support of company administration in an efficient, cost-effective manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Estimate production quotes from provided field drawings
  • Ensure pricing is consistent and correct.
  • Ensure quoting standards are consistent with the requirements
  • Initiate production quotes to jobs and place on shop production schedule
  • Process warranty job
  • Logistics - prepare packing slips and freight waybills and contact freight companies for shipment pick up.
  • Invoicing - prepare and distribute customer invoices and update job logs accordingly.
  • Verify the match of purchase order with invoice and packing slips
  • Matching of packing slips and invoices for submission to the bookkeeper
  • Closing out jobs by scanning and filing job files
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and handle customer inquiries
  • Respond to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from customers, suppliers and other parties in a professional manner.
  • Take and record telephone messages as required. Refer all inquiries to the appropriate individuals or departments across the organization.
  • Administer and manage inbound/outbound mail, including priority post, packages, courier services, and other correspondence.
  • Bank deposits preparation
  • Maintain stock level for office, shop and field
  • Participate in departmental meetings as required
  • Continuously improve job responsibilities through developing skills and increasing knowledge
  • Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
