Servicemaster Restore is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career within the restoration and roofing industry. We are looking for candidates who possess an eagerness to learn, strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively collaborate with our experienced estimators, project managers, and valued clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Previous experience in construction or roofing/restoration industry beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with estimating software is an asset.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Capable of working both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required for conducting on-site visits.
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to continuously learn and advance within the company.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Assist senior estimators in preparing accurate, timely cost estimates for residential and commercial roofing and restoration projects.
  • Review and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and associated documentation.
  • Perform on-site inspections and measurements to assess material requirements and labor costs.
  • Develop detailed proposals, clearly outlining scope of work and associated costs, and submit these proposals to clients.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to acquire pricing details and verify material availability.
  • Maintain organized and precise records for all estimates, bids, and project documents.
  • Support the creation of comprehensive project schedules and budgets.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure accuracy and feasibility of estimates.
  • Collaborate with project managers and senior estimators on complex projects as needed.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, innovative materials, and best practices within the roofing and restoration industry.
