Role Purpose:
As a Junior Events Manager you will be responsible for contributing to the efficient operation and delivery of events, to the highest standard and to ensure that the expectations of the organiser and guests are exceeded.
We are looking for a passionate, customer focused individual, with the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive, can-do attitude. You will need excellent organisation and time management skills with an eye for detail and the ability to use your own initiative.
The ideal candidate will display a passion and drive for the events industry and have previous experience of working in high end hospitality sector with a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate all aspects required to prepare and run effective events, including set up, laundry, cleaning, beverage and food service.
  • To work with other Event Managers and F&B staff on a function, by being the main contact liaising with the client and all other Departments.
  • Induction of new F&B associates working towards the training programme
  • Prepare financial/ event evaluation forms at the end of the functions and circulate to distribution lists.
  • To be ready to answer any queries, financial or operational, that the Finance Department, Sales Department or Operations Director may have regarding functions.
  • To prepare for future functions by liaising with the Sales Executive Manager responsible.
  • Ensure compliance with service standards and Health and Safety for delivery events.
  • To ensure maximum revenue opportunities are explored during the event.
