JUNIOR EXECUTIVE – IT Singer Finance (Lanka) PLC, a subsidiary of Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC, incorporated on 19th April 2004, is licensed by the Monetary Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka under the Finance Business Act No. 42 of 2011. Applications are invited for the above position at the Head Office. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- JOB PROFILE * Provide second-level support for core banking application issues and ensure timely resolution. * Monitor system performance and escalate critical issues to vendors or internal technical teams. * Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new developments, upgrades, and enhancements with proper documentation. * Support application configuration, maintenance, and release deployments. * Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate support documentation. * Collaborate with internal teams and business users to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements. * Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and operational procedures. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CANDIDATE PROFILE * Successfully completed GCE Advanced Level (A/L) or equivalent. * A Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a relevant field. * Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial sector. * Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including query writing and basic troubleshooting. * Hands-on experience with ASP.NET and application support environments (added advantage). * Experience with enterprise application support or core banking systems (added advantage). * Dynamic and result-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The position offers an attractive remuneration package, including fringe benefits as stipulated by the Singer Group.
